Terms & Conditions

General:

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall is operated by Shakespeare's Schoolroom Trust, registered charity number 1194083.

All proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales are used to support the charitable purposes of Shakespeare's Schoolroom Trust.

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall will communicate any planned full day closures/delay in opening/early closures in advance on the Latest News section of our website. We will endeavour to add an alert notice on the home page of www.Shakespearesschoolroom.org as soon as possible if unforeseen circumstances result in any unplanned closures of the attraction.

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall has disabled access. For full details, visit our accessibility page. Should you require any assistance whilst visiting us, please approach a member of our team.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We regret that with the exception of guide dogs, animals are not permitted on site.

The management of Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall reserves the right to refuse entry, if for any reason they deem there is a risk to Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall, the public or staff.

Visitors will be asked to leave the premises immediately if behaviour causes disturbance to other visitors or members of Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall staff. In this instance the admission fee will not be refunded.

To ensure our visitors' safety, Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall may conduct occasional security searches which may include bag searches.

On rare occasions filming, sound recording or photography may take place at Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall. Purchasing a ticket affirms your consent to the filming, sound recording/and or photography of yourself as a visitor and possible subsequent broadcasts or publications.

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to your personal property whilst on the premises.

The unauthorised use of cameras, videos or any other audio or visual recording equipment for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.

The use of camera flash and other lighting equipment is strictly forbidden when photographing any of the Guildhall's wall paintings.

Opening Times:

Shakespeare's Schoolroom and Guildhall reserves the right to change opening times and prices without notice.

Open Daily: 11.00am to 5.00pm (last admission 4.30pm)

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall is open seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We reserve the right not to open on additional days.


Tickets:

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless in exceptional circumstances and agreed with the General Manager.

Original tickets only – photocopies etc. will not be accepted. Lost tickets cannot be replaced under any circumstances.

Tickets must not be sold or resold and are non-transferable.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering information onto the system. All cardholde.ers may be subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be reliable for any delay or non-delivery. We do not accept payment by cheque or postal orders. Processing is reserved against your card at the time the order is placed.

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Child: £8

Concession:  £11.00

Family 2+4:  £34.00

Additional child with family ticket: £6

Admission for children under the age of five is free.

Please check carefully the date and time printed on the front of your ticket as mistakes cannot always be rectified after the booking has been confirmed.

Promotions:

All promotional vouchers/tickets/offers must be redeemed in Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall before the expiry date shown.

Promotional offers and vouchers cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other offers.

Tickets cannot be exchanged and are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the named winner or voucher holder.

Vouchers must be redeemed in person at Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall. Tickets cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.

Promotional offers and vouchers cannot be sold or re-sold. Promotional offers or voucher that has been lost or stolen, cannot be replaced under any circumstances. Promotional offers and vouchers cannot be used against special event tickets (unless stated).

Data Policy:

DigiTickets will hold your data on behalf of Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall and will not pass on your personal details to any third parties. Your contact details may be held on a database and mailing list. You may be contacted with information Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall feel may be appropriate and relevant to you from time to time. If you do not wish to receive mailings from us please notify us at info@shakespearesschoolroom.org giving your full name and address as per your booking and you will be removed from our mailing list. All rights under the 1998 Data Protection Act (UK) and any subsequent revisions will apply.

When you place an order on www.shakespearesschoolroom.org we will email you an acknowledgement of your intended order. At the time of purchase of the order the purchase contract will be made and you will be charged. Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional code will not be applied until the order is accepted but will be detailed on the invoice. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time in our sole discretion. However, non-acceptance of an order is most likely to result from one of the following: the product ordered being unavailable from stock; our inability to obtain authorisation of payment; the identification of an error within the product information including price or promotion.
