Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to any UK charity.
Gift Aid is a scheme administered by the Inland Revenue which allows charities like us to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate. If you are a UK taxpayer, by opting to Gift Aid you enable us to treat your payment as a donation, so each £1 you spend can do £1.25 of good.
I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
